Code Generation & Evaluation Engineer, Part-Time AI Training Work - Remote (United States)

The teams building them need engineers who can create realistic coding tasks, judge how well the AI handles them, write the technical answer a professional would give, and explain exactly where the AI falls short. Your judgment becomes part of how the next generation of coding models works. This is that work, done remotely around your current job.
What you'll do
- Develop coding tasks and review them for coverage of real software development problems
- Troubleshoot bugs across Python, Java, Rust, C++, Go and TypeScript codebases, then fix them
- Implement features, refactor existing code, and improve software performance, maintainability and adaptability
- Assess model outputs, check code for correctness, and provide clear annotations, technical reasoning and feedback
Who this is for
- Strong skills in algorithms and data structures, plus competitive programming and coding-problem analysis
- Highly capable in at least one of Python, Java, Rust, C++, Go or TypeScript
- Fluent English, strong analytical ability, careful code checks, clear communication, and open-source or collaborative software experience
- No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
- $50-$100 per hour equivalent; pay is per accepted task, as an independent contractor
- Under 20 hours a week, fully remote, United States
- Minimum weekly submission requirements apply.
