Linux Ubuntu 24.04 Expert, Application User (Remote, Contract, AI training) — Mercor via AI Gig Scout

Mercor is looking for professionals with hands-on, real-world Linux Ubuntu 24.04 experience for remote contractor work listed at $60–$70/hr. The application area is the Ubuntu desktop itself: the GNOME environment, Files, Settings, the terminal and package management, aimed at Linux desktop users, sysadmins, DevOps engineers and open-source developers.

Requirements: you must already run Linux Ubuntu 24.04 as your own day-to-day desktop operating system and be able to work in it today (no licenses, virtual machines or hardware are provided). You also need to capture screenshots above 2.5 megapixels, either with a single high-resolution monitor (for example 2560×1440 or higher at 16:9, or a MacBook Pro 14"/16" display) or with two 1920×1080+ monitors side by side captured as one spanning image.
