Support Engineer (Remote, Contract, AI training) — Micro1 via AI Gig Scout

micro1 is looking for a Support Engineer for remote contract work at $25–$60/hr. In this role you apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems: your work shapes how models learn, reason and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required: your domain knowledge is what matters.

Requirements: advanced proficiency with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell); strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud; extensive JIRA knowledge; in-depth understanding of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting; excellent written and verbal communication; proven problem-solving under pressure; ability to work autonomously in a remote, distributed team. Preferred: certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or CCNA, technical support or cloud operations experience for enterprise customers, and an ITIL or similar IT service management background.
