Software Engineer, Internal Platforms (Remote, Full-time) — Micro1 via AI Gig Scout

micro1 is hiring a Software Engineer, Internal Platforms: a full-time, remote, high-ownership full-stack role with a national base salary range of $120,000 to $160,000 USD per year, plus equity eligibility, possible performance-based bonuses and a benefits package (health-insurance premium reimbursement up to 100%, paid time off, 401(k) with company match). You will contribute to, and grow into owning, the internal tools, services and workflows that power micro1's operations, products and AI-driven infrastructure at scale.You will design and build end-to-end full-stack systems for critical internal workflows, build clean, scalable backend services and APIs, develop performant frontend interfaces, work on data modeling and database performance (schema design, query tuning), improve platform reliability, observability and developer experience, and help debug and resolve production issues.Requirements: experience building or contributing to production full-stack systems; strong TypeScript fundamentals; Node.js backend experience (NestJS a plus); React or similar; relational databases such as PostgreSQL; RESTful APIs and distributed-system communication patterns; exposure to AWS or similar cloud platforms and modern architectures (microservices, serverless, event-driven). Preferred: CI/CD, infrastructure as code or DevOps workflows, internal developer platforms or workflow automation, and monitoring, observability and platform reliability practices.
